Light, my Light, Sweet Intimate Light

"Light, my Light, sweet intimate Light,

Kissing the stamen of God's Love,

You unfurl the petals of my Heart, like morning glories,

Purging it from the weeds of shadows,

Feeding my soul, with Your intimate flames." -Manatita

The Hush of Silence Whispers

"Morning glories; white snow … yon butterfly

Emerging from its cocoon. Smiles from the embryo;

My heart-stopping moon. Who paints the colours

Of Thy breath?" The hush of Silence whispers:

"I am the inner music within these songs.”

"Come, sweet melody, I who call for you,

Is none other than the Bride you seek.

I am the Flower opening to this rhapsody;

You are the fragrance in My dance.

I am a silent Thief, who longs only to explore the velvet

Garments, in the inner sanctum of the Heart.

Love is the intricate web binding us together,

And like the nightingale and its eloquence, We are One.

Come! Let us watch the floating clouds as the wind drifts,

With your lips pressed against mines, stilling storms with our lustre.

Let manuscripts, scholars and intimate words, all dissolve

In this river of wine --this peerless realm, from which I come.”

“My Shyama, my only entreaty, is for that sweet gaze,

From the glint In Your eyes, as even while steeped in

The dye of discernment, I lose control, whenever I see Your face.

Let Thy breath carry me in bewilderment, only to stand

Naked in Love’s echoing resonance, of golden Silence.”

Manatita, The Lantern Carrier. 26th November, 2019

Wisdom from the Master

"Wherever you go, go with inspiration and aspiration.

Whatever you do, do with love and concern.

Whomever you see, see with purity's beauty

And responsibility's glory." -Sri Chinmoy

    Most definitely is what I voted in your poll. Nature can be very healing. At one time, in a different home, I planted morning glories along our fence. They were glorious when in bloom!

    "Love is the intricate web binding us together". Gabe and I were watching our terrarium spider cast his web yesterday. I explained that I worked on the World Wide Web in its infancy. You and Chris are great friends to me in that web.
