The Invisible Tears
Rhanzie Flores (2016)
You are living in a jar of humans who act like they care.
You are human inside the jar that nobody cares.
Tears never flow from the eyes of who doesn't mind.
It flows from the eyes of a lost soul that no one could find.
Even if you breathe the last breath of yours, have you thought?
Will there be someone to give a hand and loosen your throat?
What else you can see? What else can you hear?
When your cheeks are glittered with the water crystal that you bear.
They may notice your smile, they may hear you're laughing.
They may even say, it's just your habit to laugh for nothing.
They may fond of your jokes, but who knows that you're just faking.
They may hear you're singing, but who cares about your feelings.
Your life maybe congested and you feel really choked.
Who cares even if you shout at the top of your voice?
You can just silently shed those rain like a waterfall.
Let the water flow and be free from your heart through your soul.
Let your eyes shine like a crystals and glow behind your wall.
Wear a fake smile on your face and act like you're not a fool.
For no one could ever know how broken was your soul.
Only the one who knows your heart can wipe that invisible tears of yours.
