"The Joys and Heartbreak of Motherhood"
The Joys and Heartbreaks of Motherhood": There's no greater joy than holding your baby in your arms for the very first time and probably no greater heartbreak than the lost of one of our children. Being a true Mother is an honor and a privilege to bestow upon women, but every women doesn't get a chance to relish in it. Motherhood is a continual joy, but also infrequent heartaches and pains. I was blessed to be a mother at seventeen, through my stupidity as a teenager. I kept my child and raised her and no matter how rough things got I never would consider giving my child or children up for all the millions in the world.
My children has been my life, when there wasn't a husband around or a help mate to be found. Children are the staples that holds the women life together when there's nothing else for us to hold on too. Being a mother is a blessing from God, but there are women that aren't able to conceive, so we should be thankful for the miracle and cherish this amazing blessing that we have. We raise our children with an abundance of love and care, but we have to spank their fanny 's every now and then, so they will know what discipline is because if you don't they will disrespect us and break our heart, when they get older.
When it comes to disciplining my children, God and I are on the same page. Without a godly discipline, you're subject to be raising a murderer, thief, cheat and any thing else that's ungodly. There were times when it hurt me to spank or whip my children, but I knew if I didn't that one day they might try to whip me. Mothers are natural nurturing species that love their children and take good care of them, if they let us. I remember a statement a little old lady said to me; she said that when the children are small they're on your lap but when they grow up they 're on your heart and I believe that is a very true statement.
When our children are hurting we hurt, it doesn't matter whether it's physical or emotional pain we suffer just the same, if our children are going through troubled times, a real mother pull up her chair and pray for them. Our children really doesn't go through any thing without the support of the mother always being there.I have often told my children that I'm always there for them, but I can't support them in wrong doing, but if you doing right I there. Sometimes being a mother is a detriment to us. Especially if you have a child that's going through a lot of changes, because they don't listen. They're catching holy hell because of their disobedience and of course they you to go along for the ride. This ride you're on, is very daunting, hurtful, disappointing and a unnecessary trip. But we always try to be there to pick up the pieces when they fall off of their high horse.
When we raise our children from little babies to adults, we feel this great motherly joy and admiration for these magnificent adult children that you gave birth to, that's now birthing and fathering children themselves. This hold process makes your heart sing a happy melody. Motherhood is the best auspicious title that any mother can carry. My heart breaks for the women that are barren and can't have children of their own, for medical or what ever reasons' they are unable too . This is the very reason that I get so upset with women that can have children and don't want them. They would much rather see them dead than to give them to some unfortunate mother that would love be called mom one day.
It's such a hard pill to swallow, because it such a terrible waste of life. Mothers cry when their children cry and they laugh and smile when their are happy and will go out of their way to move heaven and earth to help their children, if they can. Our children is a blessing from God, that all mothers should be thankful of. There are women out there that would love the pleasure that we're rejoicing in having babies; if they could only have children, So mothers count your blessings that God blessed you to be a true mother.
