IN my quest,
I have concluded,
The Lord must be a China-Man!
He has to be,
He must!
It's the only 'sign' to date,
I'm sure,
With which I've been presented.
YES!
Finally! The truth be known!
And, after years and years of searching,
Of asking questions
To the wind,
Only now
I come to find,
The answer has been there,
All the time.
THE Lord is a China-Man!
Apparently, indeed!
Or, so-says my ELECTRIC JESUS,
Standing seasonal holiday vigil
On the curb beside my house.
FOR,stamped upon his blinking halo,
And, right beside the year
Of his prophetic, rebirth
The ELECTRIC JESUS heralds,
To the sinners on my street ...
