The Magnificent Tree
A tree stood in a Forest green
It's branches spread magnificently
Look at me in all my splendor
I call to the birds that may
Their nest amidst the branches that spread
Look at me
It whispers to the breeze
As gently it rustles leaves of beautiful green
I sway in time to the music of the rain as it quenches my thirst
Have you ever seen one as magnificent as me
Look how tall and statuesque
My long slender branches outstretched
Like a dancer I am magnificent
As I shake my leaves and my body sways
In tune with the rhythm of the whistling winds
Picking up force
Throwing me back and forth
My body bends and sways
I am majestic
The birds love me, the squirrel hide their fruits within my trunk
I am strong, proud and magnificently made
The snow buries my trunk in the winter white snow
Trying to absorb my greatness
Making me glisten magnificently
Look at me in all my splendor
I bask in the glorious Sunlight
that turns my leaves to different hues of green
Am I not perfection
Created to shelter, house and allow you to breathe
As I spread my limbs and call to the skies above
I am magnificent
What can I say that isn't already obvious? I love Nature.
