The Man Who Doesn't Exist
The Man who doesn’t exist
A fictional character made up to suit his needs
Had taken my heart, crushing it until it bleeds
I served it to him on a silver platter
He played with it like it didn’t mater
Promises were made which were all broken
Lies and deceit were the only words spoken
The utter betrayal came, a dawning realisation
He stuck a knife in with a deep intention
To maim and hurt with no redemption
Conning many others along his pathway
I’m the only one who knows his truth on this day
I pity the other victims he has hand picked for his pleasure
They will fall for this too, while he just sits back at his leisure
I know their faces as he brutally showed me
Having no names I can’t warn them to see
The pain they have coming is inevitable, a definite for sure
He can’t help himself, it’s what women are for
A liar and a cheater, he calls them whores
So this is my blessing I did not know before
A save for me but they’ll be many more
The numbness I feel has frozen my heart
If it wasn’t for one thing I’d be falling apart
He doesn’t exist apart from in mind
A figment of imagination, loving and kind
He does not exist, a creative piece of fiction
The love that I gave was to his imagination
I’ve taken my heart back, he doesn’t exist
