The Man With No Imagination (Title Not My Idea)

Updated on May 28, 2012

This poem's title "The Man With No Imagination" is inspired by hubber "secondimage"

I sent out a question on hubpages

"Come up with any name for a Poem? Challenge me to write it."

I am going to attempt every request that I come across and in return I will link the hubber who suggested the title throughout the poems hub.

Secondimage request made me laugh cause I wasn't sure if he was being funny towards me based off of my question I was asking.

Which made me more excited to do this poem.

"Hope you enjoy"

The Man With No Imagination

Dull uncaring

monotonous beeps

awakens him

from his dead sleep

of cold

dreamless nights.

The dread pulls

him up and into

the employed

routine

of lonely souls.

Not having…

not even

a thought

of any kind.

Habits form

to ensure death

of the company

he may of known.

His blind sight

gave no spectrum

to colour

of his image.

Leading

to the

demise

of his own

character.

Actually, a very good poem. The part about The dread of lonely souls, is sad. Voted up.

Lack of imagination is the ultimate one way ticket to loosing lively moments and fun in life. Beautifully expressed.
