The Old Worn Keyboard

Updated on May 11, 2014

A poem about the the comfort of an old friend

She is just an old, worn keyboard

Dusty, spotted;

But she is a friend-

My friend-

Her keys fit my fingers-

I touch them,

Strike them gently,

Watch the letters emerge on paper

She is my solace

My dream

My peace

My home.
