The One Who Hold's The Key To My Heart
To The Man I love
Tell me you love me
And make it count
Promises of forever that's all I want.
No diamonds, no trinkets
No chocolate kisses.
Just a pledge from your heart to mine that
Our life together will be the forever kind.
I've never wanted things, just love, and companionship
No games, no fancy words, no come on or quirky pickup lines
I don't need untruth to make me fall just a kind heart
A heart as pure as the first bud of spring
That beats a little faster when I'm in view
Soft kisses, that touches my cheeks
Warm hands that caress and comforts
When times are at their bleakest.
Tell me you love me with breathless anticipation
Don't pay my affections with Earthly possessions, but instead
Let it be with words of love, simple endearments
