She did everything in her capacity to care for him and many a time she go without food just to make sure that he ate. There was little for them in this world and no body ever cared. She refused to beg to feed him instead she did petty jobs and ran errands to provide sometimes just a meal.

He is all she has because her husband was killed by the rebels.

Marele was everything to her son Jonah with whom she has a relationship with, she was poor but that didn't stopped her from caring for him, she was there with him until he turned 10 years old then began to learn how to fix wrist watches. By age 15, Jonah was already a man as he now provides the food on their table and by the time he turned 18, he took the greatest risk of his life. It wasn't robbery, it wasn't crime but it was suicide.

Jonah made it to Spain after crossing Sahara desert then sailed on car tube from Morocco to Mayoca. You see, when you truly need something, you must go out there and get it. It wasn't an easy task living in Spain undocumented but believe me, there is always hope for the hopeless and a MOTHER'S PRAYER is but a guard. It's just a long sad story turned glorious by the most high who without whom, Jonah would have drowned twenty three years back.

No matter who you are, the only woman that matters that much is your MOTHER. Your wife is her assistant so always treat your mother just the exact way Jonah treats his mother who now reside in New York with him.
