The Poetry of Life.. A Divine Gift

Updated on October 18, 2013
sweet scents of flowers
sweet scents of flowers
beautiful creatures, small in stature
beautiful creatures, small in stature
each is precious to all
each is precious to all
Creatures great and small depend u[on each other
Creatures great and small depend u[on each other
the gift of senses, exposed
the gift of senses, exposed
Every precious living thing depends upon each and helps preserve the rest.
Every precious living thing depends upon each and helps preserve the rest.

On this blue orb, grandly spinning in space,

here, where every creature has its on place,

the breath of all life is so clean and so free,

the gift all is given, for it must surely be.

Each gives the next a fine treasure, divine,

the thoughts of our God, revealed in kind,

The spirit of each, whether big or so small,

shared benevolence, to be received by all.

Beautiful sights of colors, and the fondest hue,

more brilliant than rainbows, in skies of blue.

Such sounds to greet every ear and each soul,

a musical orchestration, for us all, to unfold.

The scent of sweet flowers, enhances our lives,

all senses confirmed by the creator, so thrives.

The loss of just one. in our creation, all fare,

brings to us such sorrows and regrets, to bare.

As dominoes must fall, each link, sorely missed,

the creatures that scurry, all plant life, sun kissed.

Respect and preservation, must be given, as due,

for our loving all that life holds, restored. anew.

We all depend on each other, from the seedlings to the flowers that feed the bees and butterflies to the acorns that feed the squirrels and on up the ladder. We must respect, feed and preserve our earth in order to keep the Life cycle alive.

      Beautiful poem, Whonu.

The scent of life is powerful and as we observe the beauty it reminds us of the Creator. Great words and inspiring photos.
