The Power Of Our Imagination
Dream Baby Dream
When you awake up
You will see a big world
One that revolves around you
Until you get older and then you will see
A different world than you remember
It may not carry all the dreams you once had
Disappointed and in disbelief
What can you do ?
Remember the fantasies and dreams of beauty
How great they made you feel
Then when you shared them with others
How excited they were too
Dreams were made to make people happy
If you give up on your dreams you stop believing
You no longer see what could happen only what is
If we don't create and let our dreams fly
We will be locked in a room with know way out
We fail to see the ladder in the corner
That we can climb
To the light
Then inside to ceiling panel
Where we can climb up
You wouldn't know the walls are hollow
With one punch we can break the wall
Make a new exit and climb through
You would never know there was a window painted like a wall
All you had to do is scrape off the paint
With one push the window goes up
The door was locked
If you keep jiggling the door knob
The lock will loosen
The lock is cheap and will break under pressure
The door then could be easily opened
If you looked around you would find a key under the potted plant
For the same door you broke
Under the rug you would find a hidden trap door in the floor
One that we could climb down
We can leave this room and come and go as we please
These are opportunities that become available
Like books on a shelf
If we never pick one up
We will never understand what knowledge we can learn
Unless we take the time to dream
Then follow the dreams to whereever you want to go
Other people may stop dreaming and try the convince you life isn't so
If you don't dream you will never know
