Twisted Love Poems: The Price of Your Love
You were the addiction
I knew I couldn’t kick
Any moment without you
Enough to make me sick
I wanted your love
But I knew I had to pay
So I did whatever I had to
To make sure you’d stay
You asked me for jewels
Only Harry Winston would do
You asked me for shoes
Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo
Only the best
Would grant me access
To the site of you
In that little black dress
Dolce and Gabbana
I do believe
I bought it for you
The day our love was conceived.
If I knew back then
Why your eyes were so green
I would have cut my losses
And walked away clean
But one little taste
Of you in the flesh
There was no turning back
I was yours till death.
