Of a Victim

Of a Victim
To reflect who we are now
Though to look back upon
At who we may never become
one out look among the rain
That person distant, he's gone
Prowling creatures to steal
Preyed over that empty plate of mine
Of a man whom never understood you
He feeds upon the reflection
He's, no, I have become the victim
Lacking of wisdom but never fear
Of uncertainties that cloud a mind
The reflection of a mirror I stare
At who I am now
But someone I've never
Wanted to become
A lone man lost among lonely souls
Of victims that prowl
In search of the same things
The same things you are now
The women I never wanted you to be
The reflection of a mirror I stare
At who I am now
But someone I've never
Wanted to become
Into the eyes of a victim I stare
To find the struggle
My lost love if indeed it's even there
Lonely heart full of sore eyes
Squinting to see
Never realising that person you are
Suppose the look was hard
Tried to stare
For far to long, far to deep
Now they all laugh at me
Starring, laughing at the victim
Slowly as she sleeps
See that blue, way far up above?
I'll find the answer
I'll watch them slowly
As they fall from out of the sky
Can't help but wait
Can't help but wonder
The reflection of a mirror I stare
At who I am now
Someone I've never
Wanted to become
