The Shrinking House

I'm living in a shrinking house

Where everything gets smaller

Mom said it's not the house

But me. I'm just getting taller

The kitchen counter way up high

Is where my mom will cook

Today if I stretch up real tall

I can peak and take a look

I thought the window in the den

Had some how gotten lower

Mom just laughed and said to me

"Son YOU are the grower!"

The house it is not shrinking

No, it's not at all

The house is still the same size

I'm just getting tall!
