The Signficance
What wouldn't we do for those we love?
Enlightened beyond what realms may see,
Memories falter beyond time’s vertigo-
Redundant less than a metaphor,
Reveal one’s true intent.
Passion, the crime understood-
Thus, we rely on a victimless content.
As these wounds have begun to heal,
The doors once locked become ajar,
To this I say sincerity exposed:
Witness the sin from all but too far.
Could not the wings carry on this flight,
Stead fast, the winds bring me near;
Indiscernible to those nearby-
To ease your pain, shield your fear.
A conscience speaks in anger,
Innocence alluded at misguided trust,
Defy those whom imprison you,
Let rapture evolve from tainted lust.
No condolence for innocence lost,
Skin thickens, pain retreats:
Forced into memory-
Now the infamy reigns complete.
