The Tales Of the Roaches

Updated on April 15, 2016

The Roaches were in their living room watching tonight's news broadcast, of Anchorman Butterfly Milton's, on the topic of household hazards.

Mama Roach was the only one watching the broadcast because the other Roaches were occupied with other activities. Papa Roach was snoring deeply in his recliner, Brother Roach was playing with his toy-soldier-ants, Sister Roach was busy reading, and Baby Roach doing what she does best, biting things.

At this moment, Baby Roach was biting a chair leg. But as Baby Roach began to lose interest in biting that chair leg, she started to notice how tasty Papa Roach's legs looked.

Just as Baby Roach took a big bit, Papa Roach let out a yell and jumped up from his chair, making Baby Roach cry out with fright.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" asked Mama Roach from her chair.

"Bug," answered the unknown visitor from behind the door.

"Bug Who?" demanded an angry Papa Roach, with a throbbing painful leg, as he walked toward the door.

"Bug Spray!" answered the grinning bug spray bottle standing on the door step.

Papa Roach tried to shut the door but it was too late. One spray and the Roaches were dead.
