The Ultimate Gift For Your Book Worm

Updated on February 4, 2011

Amazon Kindle

If you are looking for a gift for the ultimate bookworm, Kindle is the way to go. It has over 810,000 books available, and the number is going up. It reads like a newspaper, so there is no glare. It is 8.5 ounces and 1/3 of an inch thin and you can download a number of content in less than a minute. Over 610,000 books are $9.99 or less, and that’s less than you would pay for the book alone. You are saving money, and saving paper.

When the book worm decides to travel, they can take this, instead of packing tons of books. It’s not only a space saver; it’s the perfect gift for the ultimate bookworm, or college student. The Kindle has a very long battery life, and the consumer reviews are outstanding. The Kindle has Wi-Fi, so you can download books. It’s amazing that you can get just about any book you want in a few seconds, instead of ordering and waiting for delivery.

It holds up to 3,500 books! Just imagine not dealing with the mess of carrying around books, you have it right there in the palm of your hand, reading whatever you want, whenever you want. Just go onto Amazon, and read the almost 15,000 reviews yourself. With reviews that good, you cannot go wrong.

I enjoy my Kindle because I read a ton, and when I am at the lake, I can just get a book when I am relaxing. I love reading, and this is about the best option for me. The choice of reading material is great, and it downloads in no time. It doesn’t seem like I have to charge the battery either! My son uses it every now and then to get a book, and he loves it. It seems like he reads a little more now.

It can even read out loud to you! It has a ton of other features, and the price you pay for this is great! You can pay more for a cell phone that has less. I just suggest, if you have a bookworm, this is the ultimate gift. I am sure if you asked your bookworm if they have ever heard of the Kindle, they would say yes, and they more than likely want one, if they already don’t have it.

For their birthday, Christmas, or graduation, this would be the perfect gift. Check it out, and read the reviews, that many people cannot be wrong about it. My son is starting to take mine over; I am going to get another one I guess.

It has a built in dictionary, and access to an online encyclopedia. You can also highlight some of the book, and share it with other Kindle readers. You can add annotations to text if you want, and the list goes on. I am going to close this out, but with these features, the Kindle is nothing short of amazing for the bookworm at heart. You will enjoy it.
