"A Dark Faery Tale" #6: The Warrior Princess
A warrior of her own breed,
born by a willow tree,
fed to the wolves
and she's slain all three.
They call her Pocahontas,
daughter of the Indian Chief.
She wears the skulls of those
whose bones she did beat,
and their blood covers her
from head to feet.
She carries a spear and a knife,
no one has ever been able to defeat.
Her only friend, a hungry raccoon,
human flesh he does eat.
She fell in love with an outsider once.
He came from across the sea.
But his intentions were cruel,
though she refused to see.
Until that fatal night,
he murdered Daddy.
Furious, Pocahontas let out
a great war scream,
and went on a rampage,
killing every body.
The pilgrims did not win that day.
Her land would not go for free.
A price had to be paid,
and their souls it would be.
But poor John Smith,
was not given that luxury.
He would forever be indebted to her,
forever tortured, her slave for all eternity.
