Billybuck's Sweet Challenge
- A Writing Challenge: The Woman on the Mountaintop
Are you ready to spread your writing wings and fly? This is a very passionate and wonderful hub created by a very distinguished writer on hubpages. In this hub, Bill has a sweet challenge for us.
A Woman On The Mountaintop
This poem is a response to the challenge, so kindly extended
by Billybuck aka Bill Holland, a very prominent writer on Hubpages.
The link to the challenge is given on the right side of this hub. Since the
challenge was sweet and tempting, I jumped at it and tried to scribble
some words. Hope you will relish it a bit.
Her gaze penetrates nature's heart,
The white ice-sheet shining bright,
Like the innocence on her kind face,
She spreads kindness on the hilltop.
She smiles a little, charms the wild,
Her bosom beats the soil's fragrance,
Silence says more than the sound ,
The magic of hills hears her throbs.
The woman on the mountaintop,
Dazzles the earth and the heavens,
A breeze blows to touch her softness,
Leaves jostle to have her glimpse.
Moments want to merge with her,
Her laughter is a joy to all creatures,
The space wants to listen her tales,
Dreams celebrate her existence.
She sprinkles nectar of her soul,
To the thirsty earth and hungry sky,
The eternity savors her kind glance,
The woman on hilltop is almost love.
The world entangled in matters of life,
The woman has overtaken world itself,
She loves beings just for sake of love,
And world becomes the woman herself.
To feel the universe and seek bliss,
A goal for all mortals in this world ,
The woman on the hilltop cares not,
She keeps on emptying her treasure !
