Motherly love

Updated on November 5, 2011

I thought that your heart has never changed

and I still remember you;

from that moment my heart pumps just for your breathing

and separation makes me foretaste how death tastes like.

How could I forbear from regretting

giving you a part of my sacrosanct life?

In the solitude of the night I always think of you-

your deep-seated love etches in my mind.

Don't ever let me lose you

and my greed destroying and tearing my heart.

As long as I never renege on my promise,

then love will never be vulnerable.

      Short but to the point.
