The Tiny Island

Updated on January 11, 2013

This place it is not LONG

in actuality, my thoughts are as follows

it is very tiny, miniscule, and shrinking daily

I'm an ant

climbing over peoples heads to survive

an Island "they" say

Ha! Well your wrong Mr. Encyclopedia

To me

living here

on this dot of a place

gets me exasperated with every breathe I take

the trip to buy groceries alone

causes my temples to rupture with internal bleeding

on the verge of human combustion

as I make that first step onto the pavement

DEATH by asphyxiation

So please

I'm begging, pleading, and warning

you, or anyone who asks

"How is it out there?!"

Residents of the 5 boroughs

Please , please, please! DO NOT come here

you will realize within 1.5 seconds

that it is not a LONG Island

it is in fact a small place where rabbits crawl under

A very SHORT Island

that is disintegrating into thin air

So if you still want to come here

RUN in lightning speed

because lots are filling

before you can even say

ib radmaster, if you listen to danijean99s poem you could clearly see that she/he has been on that Island for so long that it has shrunk to her in size. You remember going somewhere when you were a kid, you thought the place was huge!!! When ya went back as adult ya realize it is actually a very tiny place......Well with a poem like this ya just gotta think about it. 120 miles can become very small if you have spent your whole life feeling trapped.

120 miles is not a short island.

      Sounds like a sad place?
