The way of LOVE

Time is the enemy of my troubled mind
Not knowing you yet my love is worst than being blind
I see people rushing to find love like a never ending climb
Then God said "Be still my child, Love is patient Love is kind"

Does Love avoid me? Do I look like a troll?
As I see lovers light each other's soul, envy creeps in my heart's hole
I shut my eyes for it deceives, surely it does not see the truth from hoax
Then God said "Be still my child, Love does not envy, Love does not boast"

Why does arrogance win over the whisper of the heart?
Why lovers prefer breaking up over a new start?
Does rudeness exist in Love's power? Can't you see that being rude makes you a fool?
Then God said "Be still my child, Love is not arrogant, Love is not rude"

I loved and failed. I loved again without restrain
I loved the way I wanted Love to exist, only to meet pain
Now I seek love's true meaning, knowing the author of love I pray
Then God said "Be still my child, Love does not insist on it's own way"

Being inflamed of pain and hate can destroy forgiveness
Coldness kills the fire of love and fills the air with resentfulness
Why do we let these things extinguish love's fire and soul?
Then God said "Be still my child, Love is not irritable, Love is not resentful"

Can Love stay in the way of Sin?
Can lovers walk peacefully on the path of dim?
How can Love show on a book the author did not wrote or appreciate music without you hearing?
Then God said "Be still my child, Love does not rejoice at wrong doing"

I once lived a lie, I once met sadness and cried
The truth has set me free, the truth I can't hide
I cringe on how the world defiled the way of love that I sought
Then God said "Be still my child, Love rejoices with the truth"

It's amazing what Love can do, it can move mountains or dry up springs
Love can make a deaf hear, blind see and the wind sing
Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things and endures all things
Oh God, bless this day for you have shown me the truth of Love everlasting
