The Song Of The Flowers (poem)

Updated on January 17, 2017

We danced along a path of our design

The flowers of another garden’s dream

Whose fancied fragrance causes winds to pine

Our passion was the whispers of a stream

And for our while we set our world aglow

We dared to share the gift of our delight

With all the stars that ventured through their night

We were the secret others yearned to know

Soon through our garden other flowers danced

Another’s dreams soon found the light of day

And flowers of our kind do fade away

To brighten shadows where we once romanced

Remembering the garden of our song

She went ahead and soon I’ll be along

Music only

To know that kind of love, even if for a season, is a blessing indeed. Hold on to the blessing of memory and spirit. Thank you for is beautiful gem.
