They can censor your ideas

Your words

Even your thoughts

Making you a clone

Thinking your dumb

So they pick and beat down

Until they have you in their palm

Thinking you've crashed to the ground

Twisting on command

Who are they

To tell you

How to be

To tell you

What to think

To tell you

What to say

Find peace deep inside

Let your sun shine

Smile wide

Know in your heart

That you will never hide

Don't ever let anyone try and control you

They are just weak inside

Jealous

Filled with hate

See you as prey

Fight till the end

Let your soul open wide

They cannot take your mind

They cannot take your pride

They thought they could shut you up

Make them think again

Scream out loud

Far and wide!
