This Night’s Dream (poem)
We lightly climb into our dreams this night
And slightly dim the candles for a while
Politely kiss a wish for all this right
Then brightly greet our world with flair and style.
-
Here sailing with sweet music of the heart
Detailing all the winds that wind this way
Unveiling pulses passion may impart
Inhaling scents of sighs which try to stray
-
Entwined in such delight what need to see
This light refined for minds too poor to share
Confined in cares disarms their need to flee
These arms which now remind how much we care
-
Now glancing through the mist of our desire
At dancing embers following our fire
