Thoughts on Memories

Memories are what we make as the day spins by. Some are Wonderful, full of Rich Happiness to Cherish. While others, Hurtful, and Forgettable, but not easily forgotten.

Choose the Day with Care. It's a Precious Gift, almost Priceless, for you to share, or enjoy on your own alone, and not be lonely.

Only You can make Yourself A HAPPY MEMORY....So own it, Own the Day. It's all yours to create and Enjoy!

SISTERS by b. Malin

Sisters on the Beach, share their "talk", that special language, that only they understand. Sometimes no words are even spoken, just a look, a sigh, a rolling of their eyes says it all. They've shared so many years, some of great laughter, and in between, some of sadness, bathed in "salty tears."

Their youth was different....They married early, had babies and saw them grow, motherhood would come and go. They went full cycle, they did this and that, until the kids were on their own, did they have time for each other, for selective talks.

The talented artist daughter took her life, and a part of the sisters as well. It took many years to make it through. But these sisters had each others backs and they did make it, because they were "friends" as well as sisters.

The sound of the rain coming down hitting my window pane. I love means it's a day to dream, to write, to explore my mind once more. A sunny day in the summertime is for lazy walks, or telephone talks.

But Rain, glorious Rain, locks me into my imagination, spins my brain for cooperation. I feel so creative, I can weave a web of thoughts for others to enjoy or think about. A day off from the outside world. No planning, no thinking what needs to get done, no one to answer to.

I look out my window, it's a delight...the flowers are jumping for joy. The plants are straining their necks to the sky, saying more, more! So tomorrow, when that glorious Sun shines once again. I will smile as I remember the rain and the sanctuary of today, it will be a Happy Memory for me.
