Time, Purpose, Place

Updated on September 17, 2013
Into Each Life
Into Each Life

No matter how gloomy these days may seem
Or how many battles fought
Along this path we learn the things
Those things we must be taught

To ponder and to work things out
As along this road we go
These things lead to reflective doubt
We learn what we need to know

And if we choose to learn and grow
Tis of this we must be aware
That all the stones and stumbling rows
Were meant for us to share

For none should walk alone this path
We’re put here for a reason
Perhaps it’s not yet known to us
For there’s a time, a place, a season

For each life has meaning
And each event a purpose
Each friend, each foe, placed in our path
Is there to do us service

Whether rain or snow or draught
Each battle we must face
For every day we all are taught
There’s a time a purpose a place
