Time - a Short Inspirational Poem about the Seeming Delays of God's Timing in our Lives

I wrote this poem during a very stressful time in my life. I was soooo very anxious to have certain situations turn around in my life, and for circumstances to line up the way I thought that they should, and in the time schedule I wanted. I learned many things during that time, including to rest and believe it would all work out ... in time.

When delays are too many

and answers are slow

When your heart is so anxious

That fear starts to grow

Don't give up, still you heart

and just firmly stand your ground

Lean close into God

That's where answers are found

God can turn things around

For he causes it all

to work out for your good

He will not let you fall

For His timing is perfect

and even delays

He uses to grow you

and teach you His ways

Not one tiny detail

Is He unaware of

But in wisdom He leads you

Because of His love
