Time to Say Thank You

This is Who They Are

Looking for a Design Team

In 2012 when my current publisher closed it's doors I began a search for a new publisher. What I found instead was a design team. Blue Harvest Creative at www.justaddblue.com has been the greatest boost to my visability and my awesome cover designs.

They have won awards for their cover designs and as independent designers have outdone those big six in New York City.

Who I've Become

Proud to be one of their authors.
Proud to be one of their authors.

Where I Belong

The Blue Harvest Team has made me feel like part of a big family of authors. I am proud to promote the other authors they work with and get promotion in return.

I have had the pleasure of working with them since 2013 and it has been my best experience. My book covers are edgy and reflect the story inside. The interior design is outstanding. They have done two novels for me, an ebook, an children's book of fairytales, and redone an older book. They just did a book for another author I have and I currently have them at work on another ebook.

What do I have lined up? I am working on the fourth book in my Macy McVannel series due out sometime this year. I'm working on a full length novel for another author I have, and I'm hoping to re-release my first Macy McVannel book with a brand new cover. It will keep me and them very busy.

I've made some wonderful writer friends among their authors and found I'm not as crazy as I'd thought. Each has their unique talents and if money was no object I would read each and every one of their books. Those I have read are outstanding.

Book Two in the Macy McVannel Series

This book deals with bullying in the extreme. Bullying can and does lead to death and destruction. Yet, in these days of technology, no one seems to be able to stop it.

166,000 school age children miss school every day to to bullying. Be it for looks, gender preference, ability, or just plain jealousy, children are mean. Sticks and stones are a temporary hurt, name calling and tormenting last a lifetime. Ask any child who has been bullied. Don't kid yourself the skinny kid gets picked on just as much as the fat kid. The brainy kid gets picked on as much as the student who struggles or has special needs.

Differences are what make us unique. We need to embrace them, not fear them. The fear leads to bullying. Even parents and teachers bully students. It is not limited to children. Bosses in the workplace get power hungry and bully workers. Co-workers bully each other. Before you make the next unkind remark, think about how you'd feel if someone made the comment to you.

Different Books, Different Covers

This book of poems, flash fiction, and short stories has become my breakout book. Who would have thought a simple little book of whimsey could have done something so powerful? By breakout book, it has made me an International Author. It started with the cover art.

The design art is equally amazing. The poetry is as powerful as the flash fiction or short stories it surrounds. The reviews have been awesome.

Next time you go to buy a book of any kind, look inside on the copyright page to see who did the cover art. If you see Blue Harvest Creative, you've got a keeper.

Let them know I sent you. Doesn't do anything for me, but tells them how you found them.

Thanks so much, Rebecka :) We always enjoy working with you and have loved designing all of your books. We have to admit our favorite so far is Of Moonbeams and Fairies.
