Sail Boat Memories
Their decks creak and moan
Sighing and knocking
Against waters once known
Many sail boats drifting
Heavy with memories
of you, of us, of what's missing
Unanchored and free
They drift and they clamber
Lost lambs in a vicious sea
You're the tide they fight
You're pulling and pushing
beneath a starless skys night
Sail boat memories will dance
Along your furious current
Their anchors stand no chance
Your force, it tears them apart
Sail boat memories clatter
Against the break of my heart
You're the gravity, the force
As boats start to swell
Filling with watery remorse
Carcasses of memories all that remain
You sunk them all with your waves
But you will never wash away their pain
