Thoughts from the Unborn Baby - Cute and Funny Poem for Mommy
To Be Unborn
How terribly strange to be unborn…
Say, eight months long—
The days are so long.
Not able to see,
Wanting to be free.
Attached to a cord,
Feeling real bored,
Enclosed in a sack
Like a little backpack.
Feeling too snug,
Giving the cord a tug.
Wanting real food—
Not this stuff in a tube.

Kicking Mommy’s tummy,
Thinking it’s funny—
Until she starts crying,
Then I feel like dying.
Wanting to cry,
But my tear ducts are dry.
Feeling close to my mother,
Even though I could smother.
Wondering, in fact,
If she’ll like me back.
Wanting to see
If she looks like me.
How terribly strange to be unborn....
Feeling anxious and scared
yet totally prepared
to leave comforts below
to a world I don't know.
I can't wait to see
the one that holds me....
Isn’t it about
Time I’m let out?
