To Dad

Updated on September 5, 2016

The nightingale nap against the horizon

And the sun shines no more

The wind falls beneath my heart

Crying a love from you, from up above.

A man of courage and good will

A caring person, so sweet and tender

With heart filled with warmth and gladness

Though far apart, you will never be forgotten.

Your life's journey on earth ends so soon

While holding your hand, you left me in sorrow

A knife suddenly pierced my grieving heart

Tears came running down from my weary eyes.

All I ask from the Lord in heaven

My prayers will reach to that distance trail

Sending to Dad all my love and kisses

I know that someday we will meet again.
