To Just Be
How far will you go to fill his needs,
And hold your breath, change your deeds
Learn of culture, things of past
Plan your future around stained glass
How far will he go to fill your needs
Will he hold his breath, change his deeds
Learn your habits, forgive faults
Accept your verbiage when knowledge halts
Can you handle his state of mind
As your words start to unwind
Will they be accepted or shattered and scorned
Loose their validity, a barrier born
Negating all you have come to know
About yourself and how things flow
What will become of a love so fair
When rigidity sets in catching you in a snare
Of confusion and wonder as you open the door
To new ideas of learning and more
There is a fear when knowledge seeking
Self takes the back seat for partners greeting
Never forget, No need to change
And if your life you must rearrange
To suit another then perhaps it is poor
It's not one sided, No even score
Find common ground before you begin
Then love will bring the positive spin
Of new life forming from new loves seed
Don't be afraid To Simply Just Be!
