The Gentlewoman

To Laura

Of a dreamy woman I was told

that she was something to behold

I would find her no matter what it took

So on Hubpages I did look

I finally found Laura, writing there

with blue blue eyes and golden brown hair.

Even the sky, don't believe it's true

that there is more of a beautiful blue,

than the blue that there is, in the eyes of you.

Around her neck, Laura wears a golden heart

to win her heart , you must be smart

I had to find out what you had to offer

by looking at your hubs and what you proferred

A college student, who wants her degree

An accounting major is what she'll be

The men that want Laura, line up for miles

These are a few things, that will make Laura smile

Grab a warm sweater and dance in the rain

and as the two of you dance,

you will lose the pain

of a broken heart, she will take you far away

as together you dance,

and in the rain, you both play.

Get behind two old people, completly in love

and who walk together hand in hand

To Laura, this is love so real,

she believes that this is love so grand.

Laura's just chasing a long love of writing here

Get to know her, you'll want keep her near.

Write Laura a poem, tell her how you feel

show Laura your heart, and how you are real.

Cleaner, I love the part of your profile that says "praise me and I will soar." You are a very good writer and I enjoy your works greatly. Now if I could just find more time to read all of them.

Cleaner3 - There are absolutely NO words to describe how magical this poem is and how flattered I am that you would use me as a muse.

I absolutely love it. You have once again touched me with your prose, and I am so honored.
