To These Eyes

Mihnea-Andrei Andreescu is a Romanian Symbolist/Avant-Garde poet and author of "Of Ecstasy and Sorrow".

When symmetry dismantles

And luster grows infirm,

Thorns start to shiver

-Contorted and askant...

The world - a bĂȘte noire

Looking down upon you

With odium and sordidness -

Your inside,your insight

To them it does not matter...

Look awhile into my eyes,

Relate that which you have seen,

Deep within....

You mean little to all eyes-

To all eyes but these eyes.

Such is age! But if someone still loves, there is some hope.

      Good one.
