I long for immortality

for "humility before victory."

I long for strength
to never give in
to never give up
to Fight the Good fight
til nothing is left

And to my dying day
and beyond
I will all ways
in love with you.

I long to take you with me

your hand in mine
one soul
one dream
and destiny

I long to die
with you beside me
to live on this Earth
without you
would break this heart of mine
for all time.

      Hi SubRon7,

I don't know how you had such insight by just seeing the title, but well done! I loved Titanic and also loved that scene. I wrote this poem to my husband whose name is Eric, which means King in German. His favorite song is: Joy to the World; thus the title. Remember that line; "If I were the King of the World..." He also loves all the "fishes in the deep blue sea."

Immediately when I saw the title in my email I thought of "Titanic" that great romantic tale, and in my mind I saw Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet balancing on the front of the ship, to me the "most" romantic moment of all time in any movie, and truly sharing a wonderful sight with the one you love.

And, Prisana, I suspect you are also a great "romantic," and I truly hope you are also sharing "with" someone.

Poetry is as beautiful as the flower.
