Too Tired To Think Straight

Updated on December 22, 2010

I Want To Continue But My body Says Whoa

I had a long day and a lot of things got accomplished

A day of work for me is something like a catch 22

It is something that you know you have to do

It is where the money comes from

No quick escape route to follow

It is long and slow and we have to put our best effort in it

I know many people don't and that's up to them

I keep trying to uncover one more thing I didn't know yesterday

As I pull my hair out of my head to stay awake

My eyes give me that vision

Like when you go swimming in a pool and your gogles fog up and you can't see a thing

You have to go by instincts

Each setback in my mind holds me in a place

Where I find it hard to define

I struggle with words to share my message with other people like me

I don't think their have been studies on people who will try so hard they fall asleep

I see such potential and great promise

As I close my eyes and take a well needed and long over due cat nap

Those cats are smarter than they look

They have been using the best techniques in the world

Dreaming about life and what I would love to see

Voted up. I love cat naps. It is what gets me through my day. Sleep, and rest well. Pleasant dreams.
