“Too late”
If am not here
Fighting
For my family.
or for wealth,
riches or fame!
Why then must I
Act so foolishly
Living my life
Like am just
playing some
useless game!
This situation
Is real
As death
sometimes
would reveal.
While some are
Burying their nuts
For later
Others are just
Waiting to steal
Only because
It comes easy
That way
Contented to give,
A spirited try
Never a sensible
Moment
Before having
To ask themselves
Why?
Ever took a ride
On an sluggish old
Chew, chew train.
Ever sat outside
With no umbrella
When suddenly
It started to rain
Why would my
Intentions be
To take someone
To that place
Knowing
They will surely
Fall
In some dismal
Settings
Knowing
It’s impossible
For others
To hear his calls?
Put your prints
On the dotted line
Don’t wait until
You are asked
To sign
Because
It’s the same
Procedure.
Each and every
Time.
Life is only the
Mystery
That you made
Yours to be.
Same days, same
Nights same wars
Just another fight.
Same rumors
Of wars
The light fades
Same darkness
That’s forever
Chasing the light.
To remain unsolved
Is to create more
Interest
Situation resolved
Those who survives
Are usually the
Fittest.
It’s not for the swift
But who can endure
Who feels it knows it
Only one way
To be sure!
Being in a forest
Surrounded by trees
Limbs and branches
Intact
But void of leaves.
In the dead of winter
So much snow on
The ground
No trees, no fire
Just
Freezing all
Around.
That’s his home
That’s where he lives.
The bears, the seals
Why they don’t have
Such a need
Humans will die
In just an instant
While these smile
And play
The stories we read.
Think!
Some look before
They leap,
Remembering
Still waters
Sometimes
Runs deep.
Some simply plunges
Head first,
Instant death
Of
Thoughtlessness
Rather than of
Thirst
That same curiosity
We all say
Killed the cat,
Possessed you so
Badly,
Developed a sudden
Premature
Urgency
Hell, that’s simply
That
Think!
