Too Many Tears (poem)

Updated on July 18, 2016

A few too many tears were thrown away

A few too many dreams were brushed aside

A few too many places we could hide

A few too many better things for us to say

-

Till once again our passions bring its tide

With waves well fashioned by our own dismay

And washes fonder memories away

While harsh reality and dreams collide

-

And from this mindless madness comes a kiss

I love you so and everything’s alright

We weathered storm and washed away this doubt

-

A few too many dreams were born of this

A few too many days passed into night

A few too many tears that were thrown out
