Tranquility Speaks

Updated on February 28, 2013
Source

Tranquility speaks with words louder than thunder

A sound that shocks the soul and wakes the self from slumber

Awaken to the sound; let it embrace you and flow through your veins

Spend time in secret silence and soak up beauty

Each moment is a morsel of goodness

Taste and relish in its flavor

Sweet and delicate to the palette

A delight never to be tasted again

This is the present moment

It is here only for a second

Breathe it into your soul; Enjoy the surrender.

Tranquility of the soul can be felt in the busiest places. Love your poem, it's beautiful.

I love how you put the words tranquility and thunder in the same sentence! Very lovely Sherri.

Thank you. Sometimes when I meditate, it seems that the silence speaks louder than thunder.
