Tree Rain
The trees are raining..or Be True To Yourself
The trees are raining
Remnants of a life poorly lived
Fall to the ground
A life of thoughts interrupted
Of intentions never freed
Tree rain is different than sky rain
Sky rain breaks free from itself and lands where it may
It is full of fury and damnation-indiscriminate where it may go
Sky rain is angry, in a hurry, competitive and brash
Tree rain is sky rain with a a change of heart
Its fury and angst are intercepted by what is real
Trapped in its leaves tree rain has escaped itself
All wise and true allowed to feel
Paused and thoughtful, unhurried and kind
If not to fall it pays no mind
What’s true it knows is from within
To be another a lonely sin.
