Triple Digit Heat

Updated on June 28, 2013

Tossing and turning, oh how I could not sleep!

---fighting these extreme triple digit heat

102F, man I’m sweating in my sleep

One shower, two shower, three shower and four

Still hot after I’m out of that door

-----Cranking up the AC---1 hour…uh how about 2

---------Side effect---electric bills----so I’ll leave it on an hour

I’m cooling down a bit, but after I turn it off

----20 minute maybe 30---

I’m cooked again

-------Had myself ice water-----Ahh brain freeze

Feels good for a while---but then I’m feeling sick in my tummy

Can't wait to be overcooked on Monday 112 degree!

Well I am drowning in the Southeast. If it's not raining you can cut the air with a knife. Cute prose!

Beautiful and that's exactly how the heat makes me feel! Voted up and shared.

That's life. We only have temps in the 60s and I love hot summers. So you come here and I'll go there.

We are having one of our cooler years, so far, here in Virginia. We have thunderstorms every day though. If I get too hot, sometimes I'll soak a shirt in water, wring it out, then wear it as it drys. It is almost as good as AC, and a lot cheaper.

Ah the heat wave dance! It is only eighty in good shade here at 9am. Thank you for this fun hub to keep a smile on our wilted faces today.
