True Love Poems: Sweet Addiction
Struck My Heart
Her love was addiction.
I craved her every day and every night.
Till my heart collapsed in my chest rendering me powerless.
Suddenly I couldn’t breathe anymore.
Her love could not be found.
She had gone.
No more Love.
I pulled the needle out.
My heart was scarred but I pushed through it all.
I learned to love myself and become the strongest man I could.
Now when I look back, it was worth all the pain, because I learned true love will never leave.

The rise of the Phoenix is a glorious sight to see. In death the Phoenix burns to ash, and from that ash it rises up again.
