Trusting Love-A poem

Updated on August 14, 2012

Tied to my darkness

To lost to see

That you were right there in front of me

Drowning in sadness

I pushed you away

Regardless of what you tried to say

Hollow and hopeless

I ran from you

Watching with horror as you withdrew

Alone and faithless

With nowhere to turn

In desperate need of you and your concern

Scared and nervous

I reach for you

Your love unfailing and true

Now brave and dauntless

The sun on my face

Safe in your arms I have found my place

Very touching, I felt it and that's what good writers like you are capable of achieving. Good job, I loved it.

Night... how sweet, how true, sometimes when we are caught up in ourselves we are blind even to the things that are right in front of us... love is such a wonderful thing and sometimes we do not even recognize it!! Beautiful!

So touched that you seen where i was coming from with this poem,

Learning to trust love, and want to be out in the light was a healing process that words will never be able to describe

I'm glad you liked it, thanks so much :)

      Nighttag -

You have captured what so many of us come to realize in the aftermath of our deepest darkest moments.

When we walk out of the woods, we give distance to the darkness. There is a clearing; there is is light, things become crystal clear.

Awareness is born, we become open to trusting, to loving and last but not least our sense of faith is restored.

      Great Job,

      Sage
