Take a look inside yourself.,

as deep as you can go.

Find the girl you buried,

You cannot let her go.

You think you now are hopeless,

So is she really gone?.

because you THINK she´s gone,

Now think of how she was,

How was she when she shone?

She helped the sad and lonely,

taught illiterates to read

filled her life with giving,

helping anywhere there was a need.

I know you´re sad and lonely

like the people you once helped,

But surely if you dig down deep

You can give yourself that help...

For deep down lies that same strong girl,

A woman with a heart,

Your days to shine....they may have gone,

Other problems beckon,

But as you deal with present woes

The óther you´still reckons,

That she´not dead within your soul,

Her life. It is not over,

It´s different, that is all

You haven´t lost that other girl,

you just need look inside you

You loved your life and now it´s hard,

That things can´t be the same,

But while you´re breathing, there is hope,

Life can be good again.

Remember how you were

and let it give you power

Not sadly looking back

at what was you finest hour.

Despondent is not a healthy state

and you´re finding yourself therein,

Don´t let depression win.
