Twisted Dancer
Twisted Love
Twisted, whirling like a dervish my mind danced a devilish dance. In and out she pulled and she pushed
A spurned lover raging like a foaming ocean of fury, my mind unleashed a samba , hypnotising, mesmerising, slithering, spitting and full of venom.
Yet I sing her song and write her prose, she is my one. My heart racing at the sound of her voice, she calls to me and I race to her side.
Her face holding me captive to my torment and all the while she held me enthralled.
Swatting me away like a fly she pulls me in like a moth to a flame, I hated her with a passion. Yet I yearned for her, she is my one.
She turns her back and laughs, knowing I will follow. In a pique of anger, a tsunami of fury escapes my lips, biting my tongue and feeling the blood rush to my mind.
My love reaches new dimensions beyond all time and place, she has me in her thrall; she is my one.
She reaches out and touches me, beckoning me with her eyes, her silent words pleads with me to hold her, she tells me its love and this is its dance. I am captivated, she is my one.
She haunts my waking hours with her sway and fills my nights with her dreams, she pulls me in and she pushes me away.
Standing on the edge I look past the here and beyond and it becomes all to clear; she is my one.
