Two Short Ship's Crew Poems
Results Of A Sudden Squall, 1786.
Bottom feeders
dart in and out of
blue shadowed skulls,
settled firmly in
shallow waters

Bone twist blue 'neath an ocean moon,
astronaut's remains stranded on
some distant planet's satellite,
a miscalculated landing
his skull grimacing
at alien death.
