Typewriter: A Poem

Updated on March 13, 2014
Source

I type my thoughts on antique keys,

As I bask in coffee steam,

Letting my thoughts wander,

Still caught up in leftover dreams,

Ideas become words and words become stories,

Through the rickety keys of a rusty typewriter.

Ah nostalgia Ebower. I remember doing exactly that. I still have some of the early poetry that I typed.

Jodah: That's cool! I've never typed on a typewriter before, but I'd like to try it.

I fell into thoughts of me sitting in front of my old typewriter. Thank you for sharing. Jamie
