Unbuttoning our Pride

Updated on March 1, 2014

The perfect beat.... for this kind of Pride...

You and me finally making postponed promises a reality

late at night shadows of two lovers that knock down sheer sanity

making the moves that cast away set up inhibitions

shaking the whole truth up and down, with no prerogative conditions

Warming Up senses...

perspiration and sweat is already giving us sensual and enticing clues

unbuttoning all that pride from the head down to your stiletto shoes

Knowing ourselves so well, you just rounded up all my hopes indeed

unmasking hidden intentions by looking through that negligee you wear for me...

Just follow me and take my hands..

Follow that rhythm and everything will be fine

You told me today that tonight will be the perfect night

now sexy eyes, you just walk in front of me... pretending...

Just to measure up my chances, you see? Oh gee!

unbutton little by little more of the gifted pride that I luckily found

Pride and prejudice do not belong between this catchy beat and its sound

Stand in front of me and let me raise up that beautiful rounded neck

Kisses that cannot be described with written words for fear of causing a nervous wreck

Music encompassing canvasses of heated convection

The music is trying to picture our love and our deepest feelings

The air is already filled with passionate desires and "double meaning"

Hotter than an iron rod with justice for all of our flirtatious moves

You finally accepted that promise land... and we are heading to that moon

Wow! There we go again, playing that piano around your hips

Instrumental version of love that can be felt from cheek to cheek

Wonderful view of a woman that knows consciously her man

amazing and gracious "give and take" with so much fun

No math or science needed this very "split of a second" with a splash

No reasoning or common sense, because we have all the facts

Oh baby, you just unleashed the beast inside the man... again!

cadences and rocking satin covers that don't give truce to my numbed brain

You helped me to write this final act all... worn out

hands warm enough to melt the ice inside out and about

Smiling and giving me that uncanny advice to spice up the lines

and be able to get me inspired after a rewarding steamy night

Tomorrow will be another day and maybe we will get at it once more

sad that others cannot comprehend the reality of our love

glad that we found each other in this relentless time

mad at myself for having myself led to the wrong women despite...

despite the fact that I knew they were going to crush this life of mine...

Thankful to have my baby, that left that pride out the door

grateful for the lady, that knew how to take care of this troubadour

doing it again maybe, for the winner that takes it all

regaining strength, because tonight I have an appointment with true love...

Thanks Ciara...!

Hi Lord. Wow. Sorry for peeking!! I think there's more to this than the passion, too. Love crosses the divides, and when we love another, we should cast the prejudices aside, and as you put across, unbutton our pride. Thanks for sharing, Lord, and I share too. And Bill, that was a cool comment!

Rasma, that pride was thrown out of the window for sure. Glad you read it. Because, I don't even know how I came up with all those words. Can you get duplicate of content from a muse? I think the algorithms are not ready to check it that deeply. Lol!

I know you are innocent. Those baby goats told me! You live in a torrid area so, there is not much to think about, except "EX"
